Lead a Shaolin Life

Shaolin and Ch'an

Calm the mind and strengthen the body. Achieve stillness through movement .... beyond words, thoughts and intellect.

Shaolin teaches us how to lead our lives: always at ease and ever-present. And how to lead our lives single-mindedly and unconfused through daily practice of training our body and quieting our mind.

- Master Shi Guo Song

Gung fu Classes:
Students learn the elements of Shaolin quan or boxing forms that involve the hands, eyes, body and feet. Classes begin with stretches and warm up exercises and students learn to coordinate upper and lower body, and heart and mind. Students enjoy the discipline, and exercises that both strengthen and improve flexibility. Here for Detailed Curriculum

Qi Gong Classes:
Our qigong or chigong class emphasises regulating internal qi (breath) control as a means to stay healthy and focus one's mind. Students learn the 'baduanjin' or Eight Brocade Section. Health benefits includes regulating and improving the heart, lungs, stomach, spleen, and liver. Students find the class rejuvenating and relaxing.
